Grid Connected Solar Systems
Grid connect systems use solar generated power in the first instance. If additional power is required (than the solar system generates at that point in time) power is sourced directly from the power grid.
Hybrid Solar Systems
Hybrid systems generate power in the same way as a traditional solar system but use special hybrid inverters and batteries to store energy for later use. This ability to store energy enables most hybrid systems to also operate as a backup power supply during a blackout.
Off-Grid Solar Systems
An off-grid or stand-alone system is when you store all the energy your panels produce and don’t access the grid at all. A battery is required to store the solar generated energy that provides all the power needed to meet your requirements.
Batteries
A solar battery is a battery that stores energy from a solar PV system. The system’s panels absorb energy from the sun and convert it to electricity which then passes through the inverter for your home to use

We identify the size of Solar System you’ll need

The size of your Solar System is based on various factors including the size of your home and family, and most importantly how much power you need and use. Your assigned Solar Specialist will use your energy bills to determine the size of the System needed to adequately supply your home with solar generated power. Here are some examples as a guide :

6.6kW System

Will cater comfortably for a family of up to 2 people and requires between 15-16 solar panels.

10kW System

Will cater comfortably for a family of up to 4 people and requires between 22-24 solar panels.

13.2kW System

Will cater comfortably for a family of up to 6 people, including battery storage, and requires around 30 solar panels.
